Artist Info

Heidi Soll is the creative force behind Mysa Fine Art Photography and Woodwork. She has been a professional portrait photographer for over 25 years in the Twin Cities and most recently, connects to her fine art roots in the collection, Found in the Forest. 

Her interest in woodworking started years ago when learning how to make frames. Currently, the majority of the fine art collection are finished in custom milled and hand made frames by Heidi. The wood was actually harvested from the same land and woods where the feathers are found. 

The stacking walnut side tables were originally made by her great grandpa OB Dahlgren. She reverse engineered his process and has brought them back to life. Made of solid walnut and hand finished. 

She works out of her photo studio house in St Paul, MN and TC Maker woodshop in Minneapolis. She enjoys spending time up north at the cabin, curling, playing bocce ball, her dog, travel, good friends and family. 

Heidi's first Dahlgren table was selected by the Minnesota Woodworkers Guild for their 2023 annual Northwoods Exhibition. The exhibit ran for five days at the Eden Prairie Mall and featured some of the best woodworking and craftspeople in the state.
